This course is offered to the WAMMI Medical Education Program students at the University of Idaho and Washington State University sites. In this course medical students learn the histology (microanatomy) of cells, tissues, and organs that constitute the human body. The course is designed to enable medical students be able to understand very well and describe the structure, location, organization and functions of different human cells, tissues and organs. Also, students learn ultrastructural organization of cells important for understanding functions at sub-cellular/molecular levels.
Graduate students in biology or biomedical/life science in general are welcome to take MEDS 510. In other words the course is also available for graduate students.
